Tax Janitors LLC was founded in 2020 as Terrapin Accounting by Jack Doll, CPA. After spending 5 years at PwC, Jack saw how COVID-19 transformed the accounting profession—and how small businesses and individuals were often left struggling with complex taxes. Jack watched his dad, a small business owner and retired firefighter, navigate the challenges of bookkeeping and taxes since he started in business school.

When the pandemic and AI threatened the Big 4 firms, Jack decided to leave PwC and start his own business. Tax Janitors LLC’s mission was and is to help smart, hardworking Small Business owners who simply struggle with Accounting. Since its founding, Tax Janitors LLC has worked with clients of various sizes, industries & backgrounds to solve their problems with QuickBooks, sales tax, payroll, and other necessary services.

Knowing your numbers shouldn’t be a puzzle. Jack is countenanced with overwhelming kindness by his wife, Sharon McEnearney, a scientist at Johnson & Johnson. Jack & Sharon also kindly countenance their rambunctious tabby cat Reba.
